Seven is right in the town centre, Captain Andy’s and UpperClub overlook the marina, while Cabana Rooftop by MESA sits close to the sea at Cala l’Andragó. And if you really want to go higher, the Suitopia Sky Bar in Calpe on the 29th floor is well worth the short drive.

Cabana by Mesa Moraira
Cabana by MESA is located at Cala l’Andragó, on the coastal road between Moraira and Calpe. Upstairs, Cabana Rooftop combines Mediterranean views, sea air, handcrafted cocktails, music and food.
The rooftop has panoramic views along the coastline and is designed as a place where you can stay a little longer rather than simply stop for one drink. The menu is based around fresh produce and sharing dishes, while live DJs are also part of the concept on selected days.
Our tip: a good choice if you want to combine cocktails with something to eat and make it a longer afternoon or evening.

Captain Andy’s
Captain Andy’s is located above the marina and has been part of Moraira’s bar scene since 1990. From the rooftop you look across the yachts towards the Mediterranean, the Peñón de Ifach and the Sierra de Bernia. The focus here is very much on cocktails and premium drinks rather than dining.
Our tip: one of our favourite places for an aperitif before dinner. The combination of the marina, boats and views gives Captain Andy’s a very different atmosphere from the bars in the town centre.

Seven Moraira
Seven is located on the roof of Hotel Buigues, right in the heart of Moraira. The rooftop is relatively intimate and serves cocktails, cava, wine, gin & tonics and tapas. Its biggest advantage is the location: after your drink, you can simply walk to one of the many restaurants in the centre. Seven’s current website continues to present it specifically as a rooftop cocktail and tapas venue.
Our tip: our choice when you want a rooftop drink before dinner without leaving the centre of Moraira.

UpperClub at Club Nautico Moraira
Above Restaurante Club Náutico you will find UpperClub, the restaurant’s rooftop and chill-out area. The terrace has panoramic views across Moraira’s marina and combines cocktails with smaller dishes designed for sharing. It therefore sits somewhere between a cocktail bar and an informal rooftop dining experience.
Our tip: particularly enjoyable for an aperitif or a few sharing plates before continuing the evening in the centre.

Which rooftop bar would we choose?
It really depends on the occasion. For a cocktail overlooking the marina, we would choose Captain Andy’s. If you want to stay right in the centre of Moraira, Seven is the easiest option. For a longer afternoon or evening where you want to combine drinks and food by the coast, Cabana Rooftop is a good choice.
And if you want a drink overlooking the marina with the option of sharing a few dishes, UpperClub fits perfectly. There is therefore no single rooftop that is best for every occasion. Which, admittedly, is also a reasonable excuse to try more than one.
Want to go even higher? Suitopia Sky Bar in Calpe
For the most dramatic rooftop views in the area, you need to leave Moraira for a while. The Suitopia Sky Bar is located on the 29th floor of ESTIMAR Calpe Suitopia and offers 360-degree views across the Bay of Calpe and towards the mountains inland. The drinks menu includes cocktails, champagne and mixed drinks. Opening days and times can change, so the hotel recommends checking before you visit.
Our tip: go here primarily for the panorama. At this height, the view is very different from the more intimate rooftop bars in Moraira.
