January 2025
January 06. “Los reyes majos”
Feast of three kings. For example, like St Nicholas, they bring gifts for the youngest. It starts at 5.30pm at the Ampolla beach. From there, there is a procession through the streets of the centre. At the church on Calle Iglesia, the parade ends.
January 17-18-19. “Fiesta de Sant Antoni”
Feast with campfires with special blessings for the animals. In the center of Moraira. The blessing of the animals starts at 11:30 am.

February 03 “Festividad de San Blas”
Is in Teulada. Here you can taste the “Dama” among other things. This is a traditional “Pan Quemado” cake in the shape of a male and female silhouette.

On Easter Sunday the procession of “Procesión de l’Encontre” starts at 08:30 in the center of Teulada. This has been a colorful procession since the old days.

April 23 to May 04 “Fiestas Patronales de Teulada”
The local patron saint festivals of Teulada in honour of the patron saint of the village “San Vicente Ferrer”. There is a variety of different activities. The most famous of which is the Procession on Monday in which many residents and visitors to the village participate. There are also spectacular fireworks on both Monday and Tuesday and in addition the bull running with young bulls.

May 01 to 04 “Vive Teulada Moraira”
(program: Vive Teulada Moraira 2025)
A gastronomic festival where the restaurants from Moraira and Teulada can show their qualities. Each restaurant has a small menu with different snacks and there are several performances on the large stage every day.
location: on the square in front of the castle in Moraira.
May 25 ‘Triatlón Teulada-Moraira’
Starting point is the L´Ampolla beach in the city centre. End point is at Moraira castle in the town centre.

June 2025
06 – 08 June “Mercado Andalusi”
Daily from 11:30 am to 11:30 pm at Plaza La Sort in Moraira
09 – 15 June “Moros y Cristianos”
(Program: Moros y Cristianos)
A festival commemorating the conquest and reconquest of the Berber pirates (Moros) in Moraira. Complete with a spectacle on the beach and a gala parade on Sunday. At the end of the parade there is a grand fireworks show at the castle of Moraira. All in all a must see! Read the blog here: ¨Moros y Cristianos¨.
June 22 “Corpus Christi”
A procession with traditional dance.
June 23 “Noche mágica de San Juan”
Traditionally, people dance around bonfires until the flames are extinguished enough to jump over them. Finally, it is also the best day to purify yourself both mentally and physically by going for a swim in the sea at midnight.

July 2025
July “Fiestas en la Font Santa”
Festivities of La Font Santa in the chapel of the same name, with music and, among other things, little bulls.
10 to 20 July “Patronales en Moraira”
July 14 ¨Día de la ofrenda de flores¨
Today flowers will be offered to the Virgen del Carmen. This will happen around 8 p.m. in the center. Afterwards there will be a fireworks show.
July 15 ¨Día de Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados¨
Around 2:00 PM, fireworks will be set off on the Paseo del Senillar. at 20:00 there will be a parade that starts at Espai La Senieta. Around 21:00 there will be another fireworks show at the castle. And in the evening a DJ will perform at the castle of Moraira.
July 16 ¨Día de la Virgen del Carmen¨
Around 14:00 fireworks will be set off at the Paseo del Senillar. At 20:30 there will be a procession in honor of Virgen del Carmen over land and sea. At the end of the procession there will be a fireworks show accompanied by a DJ.
July 17 – 18 – 19 ¨Bous a la Mar¨
During this event an arena has been built in the harbor of Moraira. In general the young men of Teulada/Moraira have to try to make the bulls run into the water. Is at 19:00 and 23:30.
July 25 “Fiestas de Sant Jaume”
In Benimarco also with music and fireworks.
July 30 “Els Sants de la Pedra”
In Calle Calvo Sotelo of Teulada. A party with among other things a dinner, a dedicated church service and the little bulls.

August 2025
August “Voramar Street Music Festival”
In the month of August, several bands will perform in the streets of Moraira center on several evenings (starting at 8:00 PM).
08 – 10 August “Fiesta y Mercado Medieval”
Medieval festival with old-fashioned costumes and a market showing how products were made in the Middle Ages. This also includes musical attractions, theatre and games. All days between 6:30 pm and 01:30 am in the old town of Teulada.
August 21 ´Shopping evening´
Special shopping evening in the centre of Moraira.
August 30 “Fiesta del Moscatell”
Special celebration in honor of the harvest of the Moscatel grapes. You can of course also taste this, as they are of course exceptionally proud of the wines and dishes made with “their” grape.

September “Fiesta de la Divina Pastora”
Traditional dances and music in the centre of Teulada.

October 04 “Gourmet race”
At Club Nautico in the port of Moraira. An annual event where sailing boats sail a course at sea while preparing a meal on board the ship. Once back in the port, a jury tastes all the dishes and declares a winner.
October “Octoberfest”
In the large car park in the centre of Moraira.
November 2024
Second or third weekend in November “Festividad de Santa Cecilia”
The cultural and musical groups of Teulada honour their patron saint with an extensive programme of concerts and performances.
15 – 16 November ‘Ugly Day Moraira’
Big rock festival in the car park in front of L´Ampolla beach in Moraira centre. During the event, money will be raised for charity.
November 25 “Fiesta de Santa Catalina”
Various cultural festivities in Teulada with a parade on Sunday.
December 2025
December “Mercado de Navidad”
Christmas market in the center of Moraira. The Christmas market is open both days from 10:00 to 20:00. On both days, Santa Claus will visit Moraira between 17:00 and 19:00.
