These frequently asked questions have been designed to inform you as well as possible about Moraira. We dont have to convince you of the fact that Moraira is one of the most beautiful coastal towns on the Costa Blanca, you already know that ;).   • I've seen a villa on your site, how do I book this?
    You can make your booking request using the application form at the respective villa. Here you enter the required period, persons and contact details. We will answer you as soon as possible. For example, see the application form for Casa Alicia.
  • How do I know if a villa is available for a certain period of time?
    Please contact us. We can be reached by contact form, email, phone call or WhatsApp. We will respond to you as soon as possible.
  • How much does a villa cost for 4 people in the summer?
    All prices are listed at the villas and apartments. Click the red button "Prices" on the right side of the data per villa. This shows the prices per week which vary during the season.
  • How can I make a payment?
    When your desired villa is available we will make up a booking for you. This will be send to you via email. To confirm this booking we would like you to make a payment of 30% of the rent. This can be done via bank transfer to our account. Six weeks prior to arrival you can transfer the remaining sum.
  • Are there any financial surprises that I have to keep in mind?
    No, we do not like such surprises and are as transparent as possible in the costs. The price list shows the weekly price for the villa. It also states that there is a linen package (at € 18, - pp). The final cleaning costs are also shown. The consumption of water is included, however, the gas and electricity consumption is exclusive and is settled after the checkout. We measure the meter positions at the start of your stay and again when checking out. You may also keep an eye on your consumption during your stay.

  •  What are the gas and electricity costs per week?
    To give some kind of indication, the gas and electricity consumption for 4 people would average around € 50 per € 60 per week. During the winter period, the gas consumption will be higher. This is only an estimate, no rights can be derived from this. The consumption of energy varies per villa and inhabitants. It is highly dependent on your own habits with this, considering the frequent use of the air-conditioning units, which costs a lot of energy.
  •  How do I receive the keys from my villa?
    On the day of arrival, please tell us the time of arrival. We will meet at a convenient location, easily accessible, in Moraira. We will then guide you to your villa. The villa will be explained to you and we will hand over the keys to you. All of this as efficiently as possible to make the most of your stay.
  •  Who do I contact if I find a defect in my villa?
    In this case you can contact us at any time. We live in the immediate vicinity of your villa and will do everything possible to help you as soon as possible to help you enjoy your holiday.
  •  Can I rent a baby bed and a high chair during my stay?
    Off course we can arrange this for you. You can rent a baby bed including matrass and baby bed linen for € 50,- (regardless the length of stay).  A high chair can be provided for € 15,- (regardless the length of stay).
  •  I would like to come by plane but how do I get in Moraira if I do not want to drive myself?
    Unfortunately, in the immediate vicinity of Moraira there is no public transport. However, there are still a number of possibilities. A good but expensive option is to take a taxi from the airport. You can also decide to take a transfer, for example, through the Beniconnect company. This is not expensive (from ± € 30), but can be time consuming (± 3 hours) as it usually involves multiple drop off points.

  •  I want to rent a car but do not know which company to take, which one is the best?
    We have been working for the full satisfaction with our local partner Giner rent a car for a number of years. For you as a guest, this is very pleasant because you do not have to be in a long line at the airport and to fill in forms. When you book through us, you will receive the car key at the airport and you will need pass by their office within a few days to settle the payment and sign the papers. You can indicate when booking if you want to rent a car.
  •  Is there an airport near Moraira?
    Moraira can be reached via Valencia and Alicante airport. From Aeropuerto Valencia it is about 5 quarters drive and from Aeropuerto Alicante about an hour.
  •  Are there golf courses in Moraira?
    Yes, the municipality of Teulada-Moraira features a 9-hole golf course that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea.
  •  Is there a beach in Moraira?
    There are 3 big beaches and many small bays in Moraira and the immediate area.
  •  Do the villas have a private swimming pool?
    All the villas of the Spanish Sun feature a private swimming pool with large terrace.

  •  What is the distance between Moraira and Javea?
    The distance between Moraira and Javea is only 13 km and the route is clearly indicated. The (winding) road to Javea is in good condition and gives a beautiful impression of real Spain.
  •  What is the distance between Moraira and Altea?
    Altea seaside resort is about 25 kilometers from Moraira. The coastal road from Moraira to Altea is well maintained and the route offers fantastic views. The coastal road is worth a trip. Arriving in the old town of Altea you will see a very different atmosphere. Cute little vowel streets and small buildings. Really an authentic old Spanish village. Altea can also be reached via the toll road. This route is faster, but less attractive in view.
  •  What is the distance between Moraira and Calpe?
    Calpe is the neighboring municipality of Moraira and is about 15 kilometers from the center of Moraira. Calpe is easily accessible via the coastal road.
  •  What is the distance between Moraira and Denia?
    Denia is 30 kilometers from Moraira and can be reached either via the toll road or the provincial road. Both roads are well maintained but the provincial road can be busy. Via the toll road you can reach Denia in about 30 minutes.

The advantage of toll roads here is that they are not widely used, the Spaniard prefers the (free) N-roads, thats why it is rarely busy on toll roads and almost never with freight traffic. Benidorm is only a 30-minute drive away. Here are numerous (British) bars, restaurants and shops.
  • What is the distance between Moraira and Valencia?
    The center of Valencia is accessible from Moraira via AP-7 tollway. Although Valencia is 120 kilometers from Moraira, you will be able to reach it in 5 quarters.
  • What is the distance between Moraira and Alicante?
    Alicante center is 80 kilometers south of Moraira and can be reached via the AP-7 toll road. The toll road is very well maintained and not so crowded, which means that you are in a place of destination in about 1 hour.
