Holiday in Moraira with a Baby or Toddler

Geschreven door Michiel

Enjoy a relaxing family holiday on the Costa Blanca, even with your little ones

Planning your first holiday abroad with a baby? Or looking forward to some Spanish sunshine with your adventurous toddler? Moraira is a lovely destination for families with young children. Travelling with little ones takes a bit of extra planning. You’ll want somewhere comfortable to sleep, space to play and the convenience of your own kitchen.
With a private holiday villa in Moraira, you can easily keep to your child’s usual routine. And while your little one enjoys an afternoon nap, you can relax on the terrace.

Why a Holiday Villa Is Ideal for Young Families

Having your own holiday villa makes travelling with a baby or toddler so much easier. You have a fully equipped kitchen for preparing bottles and meals, separate bedrooms and the freedom to organise your day exactly as you wish. And let’s not forget the washing machine. With young children, that’s a real bonus! A private swimming pool and garden are wonderful for family holidays, too.
Our tip: not every private swimming pool has a separate safety fence. Never leave young children unattended in or near the water, even for a moment.

Which Holiday Villa Is Right for Your Family?

At Moraira Holiday Homes, we know our villas personally. That means we can help you find accommodation that suits your family and the age of your children. Here are three villas we particularly recommend.

Villa Alicia – Comfortable Single-Level Living

A charming Spanish villa with three bedrooms, a covered terrace and a private swimming pool. The main living areas and bedrooms are all on one level, which is particularly convenient when travelling with a baby or toddler

Villa Naranja – Peaceful and Spacious

Villa Naranja is situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking Moraira’s golf course. The spacious Mediterranean garden, private pool and several terraces provide plenty of opportunities to relax together. The villa has accommodation on two levels, so bear this in mind if you’re travelling with an adventurous toddler.

Beaches, Sunshine and Family Time in Moraira

Moraira has some lovely beaches, but with babies and toddlers, we’d particularly recommend the sandy ones. Playa del Portet is a beautiful sheltered bay with clear water, while Playa de l’Ampolla is close to the town centre and has several useful facilities.

Frequently Asked Questions About Holidays in Moraira with a Baby or Toddler

Is Moraira Suitable for a Holiday with a Baby?
Yes! Moraira is a lovely destination for young families, with sandy beaches, supermarkets, restaurants and medical facilities. Staying in a private villa also makes it easier to follow your baby’s normal sleeping and feeding routine.

Can I Request a Travel Cot and High Chair?
Yes. Moraira Holiday Homes can arrange a travel cot with bedding and a high chair upon request. Additional rental charges may apply, so please let us know what you need before your arrival.

Which Beach in Moraira Is Best for Toddlers?
Playa del Portet and Playa de l’Ampolla are our favourites. Both have sandy areas, while L’Ampolla is particularly convenient because it’s close to the town centre. Always supervise young children closely near the sea.

Are Private Swimming Pools Safe for Babies and Toddlers?
Private pools require constant adult supervision. Not all pools have separate safety fencing, and an enclosed garden doesn’t necessarily mean the pool is inaccessible. If you have specific safety requirements, please discuss them with us before booking.

When Is the Best Time to Visit Moraira with a Baby?
May, June, September and early October are often lovely months for a holiday with a baby or toddler. July and August can be particularly hot, so plan outdoor activities for the cooler mornings and late afternoons.
