Wake up to the Mediterranean

There is something special about staying in a villa with sea views in Moraira. Enjoy breakfast overlooking the Mediterranean, relax on the terrace as the light changes across the coastline or end the day with a glass of wine while the sea remains part of the view.

Our collection includes villas with everything from pleasant sea views to wide panoramic views across the Mediterranean and towards the iconic Peñón de Ifach in Calpe.

Some villas offer sea views from the living room and covered terrace, others from an elevated rooftop terrace, bedroom or even the swimming pool.

Because we know every villa personally, we can help you choose not simply a villa with a sea view, but the one with the kind of view you are actually looking for.

When searching for a villa with sea views in Moraira, it is worth looking beyond the words sea view.

At Moraira Holiday Homes, we distinguish between villas where the Mediterranean can be seen from certain parts of the property and villas where the sea forms a much larger part of the overall view.

Sea view

A villa with a sea view may offer views towards the Mediterranean from a terrace, living area, bedroom or another elevated part of the property. The sea is clearly visible, but it may not dominate the entire outlook.

Panoramic sea views

With panoramic sea views, the Mediterranean becomes a much stronger part of the holiday experience. These villas are generally positioned higher and offer wide, open views across the coastline, Moraira, the bay of El Portet or towards the Peñón de Ifach.
If the view is one of the main reasons for choosing your villa, we recommend looking particularly at our panoramic sea-view propertie

Which sea-view villa should you choose?

The best villa depends on what matters most to you besides the view.

For the most impressive panoramic views

Look particularly at:

  • Villa Annamar
  • Villa Bahía del Portet
  • Villa Andrago
  • Villa Rosana
  • Villa Patricia

These are the properties where the view is one of the defining features of the villa.

For views towards the Peñón de Ifach

The distinctive Peñón de Ifach at Calpe forms part of the panorama from several villas.
Villa Annamar and Villa Rosana are particularly strong choices if this iconic Costa Blanca landmark is something you would like to see from your accommodation.

For a sea view from the swimming pool

Villa Annamar stands out.
Its elevated position means that the Mediterranean and Peñón de Ifach remain visible even while you are in the pool.

For sea views and walking distance to the beach

Consider:

  • Villa Andrago, close to Cala l’Andragó;
  • Villa Patricia, also close to the Andragó coastline;
  • Villa Bahía del Portet, within walking distance of El Portet beach.

These villas combine an attractive view with the ability to leave the car behind for at least part of the holiday.

For sea views and walking distance to Moraira town centre

Villa Zara is particularly interesting.
It combines a private pool and sea views with a location from which Moraira town centre can be reached on foot.

For a modern villa

Villa Andrago is the obvious choice if contemporary Mediterranean architecture is high on your wish list.
Its modern design, large saltwater pool, landscaped garden and panoramic upper terrace create a very different atmosphere from our more traditional Spanish villas.

For traditional Spanish character

Villa Patricia and Villa Alicia offer a more classic Mediterranean holiday-home atmosphere.
Covered terraces, Spanish architectural details and mature outdoor areas give them a very different personality from a modern design villa.

For up to 8 guests

Several of our strongest sea-view villas accommodate up to 8 guests, including:

  • Villa Andrago;
  • Villa Bahía del Portet;
  • Villa Rosana;
  • Villa Patricia;
  • Villa Zara;
  • Villa El Nido.

Always check the individual property page, as Patricia, Rosana and Zara have flexible layouts depending on the number of guests.

Our villas with panoramic sea views

Villa Annamar

San Jaime | Sleeps 6 | 3 bedrooms | Heatable saltwater pool | Panoramic sea views

Annamar offers one of the most impressive combinations of sea view and swimming pool in our collection. From the living and dining areas, covered naya and pool terrace, you look across the Mediterranean towards the Peñón de Ifach. Even while swimming in the large 9 × 5 metre saltwater pool, the view remains part of the experience. The villa is also completely step-free, both inside and around the main outdoor areas.
Best for: panoramic views, heatable pool and single-level comfort.

Villa Bahía del Portet

El Portet | Sleeps 8 | 4 bedrooms | Heatable pool | Panoramic bay views

Villa Bahía del Portet enjoys a particularly beautiful position above the bay of El Portet. The panoramic view stretches across the Mediterranean and surrounding coastline and can be enjoyed from several of the terraces and outdoor living areas.
A complete outdoor kitchen, large dining table, lounge area and heatable private pool make this one of the villas where it is very easy to spend almost the entire holiday outside. El Portet beach and its restaurants are also within walking distance.
Best for: El Portet, panoramic bay views and complete outdoor living.

Villa Andrago

Moravit | Sleeps 8 | 4 bedrooms | Saltwater pool | Panoramic sea views

Villa Andrago combines contemporary Mediterranean design with one of the best locations in our collection. The bedrooms and large garden with 10 × 5 metre saltwater pool are on the lower level. Upstairs, the living room, kitchen and large covered terrace open towards panoramic views across the Mediterranean. This gives Andrago two very different outdoor worlds: the landscaped garden and pool below and a spacious elevated terrace with sea views above.
Cala l’Andragó and several popular restaurants are only a few minutes away on foot.
Best for: modern design, walking to Andragó and panoramic views.

Villa Rosana

San Jaime | Sleeps 6–8 | 3–4 bedrooms | Large private pool | Panoramic sea views

At Villa Rosana, the elevated position creates wide views across the Mediterranean towards the Peñón de Ifach. One of the best viewpoints is on the upper living level, where a second lounge opens directly onto a spacious terrace.
With its large private swimming pool, several terraces and flexible accommodation for 6 to 8 guests, Rosana offers both space and impressive views.
Best for: large groups, panoramic Ifach views and a large pool.

Villa Patricia

Moravit | Sleeps 6–8 | 3–4 bedrooms | Private pool | Panoramic sea views

Traditional Spanish arches frame the view at Villa Patricia. From the main covered terrace and living areas, you look across Moraira towards the Mediterranean. An external staircase leads to the rooftop solarium, where the panorama becomes even wider.
The villa is also within walking distance of the Andragó coastline and several popular restaurants.
Best for: traditional Spanish atmosphere, panoramic views and Andragó nearby.

Other villas with beautiful sea views

Panoramic views are not essential for everyone. Sometimes a pleasant view from the terrace, bedroom or favourite seating area is enough to add that extra Mediterranean feeling to a holiday.

Villa Lara

Villa Lara in San Jaime has a large covered terrace at the front of the property with views towards the Mediterranean. There is also a rooftop terrace where the view becomes wider. Combined with the private pool, privacy and spacious outdoor areas, Lara is a particularly comfortable all-round holiday villa.
Best for: covered terrace, privacy and sea views.

Villa Alicia

Alicia is a traditional Spanish villa in San Jaime with pleasant views towards the sea from several areas around the property. The main attraction is the relaxed connection between the covered terrace, garden and private pool. This makes Alicia ideal for guests who value Spanish character and outdoor living, with the sea view as an additional bonus.
Best for: traditional Spanish charm and easy single-level living.

Villa Zara

Villa Zara offers something quite different. The upper accommodation has a large covered terrace with views towards the Mediterranean, while Moraira town centre is within walking distance.
The villa is normally rented for 4 guests but can be expanded to accommodate up to 8 by adding the completely self-contained apartment on the lower level.
Best for: sea views combined with walking distance to Moraira.

Villa El Nido

At El Nido, the sea view is not the main feature of the entire villa. Instead, it is an extra reward on the upper level. From the main bedroom and its private balcony, you can look across the surrounding area towards the Mediterranean and the Peñón de Ifach. Downstairs, the focus is more on the private pool, Mediterranean garden and large covered outdoor kitchen.
Best for: families and groups who value outdoor living, with sea views from the upper level.

Villa Terramar | Benissa Costa

Terramar is located on the nearby Benissa Costa and has several terraces positioned on different levels around the villa. From a number of these areas you can enjoy views towards the Mediterranean. What makes Terramar particularly attractive is the outdoor lifestyle: a private pool, its own pool bar and an exceptionally complete outdoor kitchen provide several places to spend the day outside.
Best for: sea views, outdoor kitchen and multiple terraces.

Sea views and a private swimming pool

A beautiful view is even better when you can enjoy it from your own villa. The sea-view villas featured on this page also offer private swimming pools, making it possible to combine two of the most popular wishes for a Moraira holiday: your own pool and views towards the Mediterranean.

Pool areas differ considerably between properties. Some villas have particularly large swimming pools, others offer pool heating, saltwater systems, more privacy or an outdoor kitchen beside the water. If the swimming pool is just as important as the view, visit our dedicated page comparing our villas with private pools in Moraira.

Why Moraira is ideal for a villa with sea views

Moraira is surrounded by hills and established residential areas that rise gradually away from the Mediterranean. That geography creates many elevated positions overlooking the coastline without turning Moraira into a high-rise resort. Areas such as San Jaime, Moravit and El Portet each offer their own type of view.
In San Jaime, you will often look across the coastline towards Calpe and the Peñón de Ifach. From Moravit, views extend across the Mediterranean around the Andragó coastline. El Portet offers a completely different panorama, looking across one of Moraira’s most attractive bays.
The best location therefore depends not only on how much sea you want to see, but also on which part of Moraira you would like to have around you.
